Final Project Finished!

I have finally finished all of the 23 awareness posters i was designing for my final major project.

Font!

After having seen a lot of handmade fonts and thinking “I could make that”, i finally did! This is a first attempt, i have made one font before in my first year of uni, so i was slightly familiar with the software, however a lot of it was still a guessing game. I’m not sure why some of the strokes/letters are thicker than others, but as a first attempt of making a font unaided, im happy with it.

Deliz Chocolate

As part of my uni work i am making a brand of chocolate, with the name Deliz. Delizioso is Italian for Delicious, and one of the languages spoken in Switzerland, which is where i want my chocolate to appear to have originated in.

This is the logo which is made from combing two different typefaces.

I used the typeface as a logo, and started mocking up some chocolate bar packets. These are not a major part of my project, as the end goal is to design easter egg packages, but i felt doing this would help give my brand substance, and a basic look to work with. The photograph is not my own, but if i do use it in my final work, i will rework the design with my own imagery.

This is the final one i went with in the end.

Its by no means finished, but the best out of the ones i did.

 

I was also toying with the idea of appropriation to relay information about packaging waste. This one i did using a fanta bottle and label.

 

Recent Work

Photoshopped skyline of the Big Ben, London. First attempt, i know its quite messy. Will come back and redo this at some point!
